Disneyland Hong Kong

Lantau Island is home to Hong Kong Disneyland, the first Disney theme park in the Chinese region and one of the most popular attractions in Asia.  Together with Ocean Park it is one of only two large scale theme parks in the region.

Located on Penny's Bay on the eastern side of Lantau the development echoes the features of the Disneyland's in other countries with similar attractions and rides.

Accessed via a dedicated railway line with Disney themed trains and stations it is open every day of the year and closes each day with a fireworks display that is visible from many areas of Lantau and other parts of Hong Kong.

Current ticket prices range from HK$669 to HK$849 for adults (12-64 years), depending on the season and day of the week, with children (3-11 years) and seniors (65+) receiving discounted rates from HK$499 to HK$639.  Discounts are available for two day tickets.

Two hotels operated by Disney are located at Penny's Bay outside the theme park itself.

Food Specialties

Lantau is home to some of the most special foods in Hong Kong. Don't miss out on the vegetarian delights served by the Po Lin Monastery right next to the Giant Buddha statue, nor the authentic preserved seafoods and condiments which are made and sold around Tai O village.

Dining choices have never been larger on Lantau but leave space always for the special snacks such as Egg Waffles and Mango stuffed sticky rice dumplings which you will find only in more authentic parts of Hong Kong.
